Last Augus, it was suggested that the newsgroup rec.heraldry adopt arms
of its own.  While the propriety of a newsgroup having arms was discussed
at length, proposals were also made for those putative arms.  Here are 
those that I have collected in no particular order.  Additions and corrections 
welcome as usual.
