Heraldry of the States in the Union

Every US State has a seal. Most of them are faintly heraldic, if at all, but they are of interest. Most of the sites linked below have pictures and explanations. For the Lower 48, you can also use a clickable map.

Puerto Rico has a proper coat of arms granted by Ferdinand on Nov 8, 1512.
